Bill starred in both football and basketball at Pulaski High and earned all-state laurels as a football center, graduating in 1948. At Whitewater he earned all-conference football honors as both an offensive and defensive player. He was a guard on the 1952 championship basketball team. After graduating in 1953, he served with the Army in Korea. Since 1955, Bill has served the Milwaukee school system as a teacher, coach, athletic director and is presently Principal of Custer High School. He received his Masters Degree from Marquette in 1962. While active in community affairs Bill has served in a number of professional associations. Elected to the Hall of Fame, 1974.
