Stacey Lueptow excelled for the Warhawk track and field team.  In 1989 she set school records in the 60 hurdles indoors and the 100 hurdles outdoors and went on to qualify in both events in NCAA III championships.  She placed eleventh indoors and ninth outdoors that season.  In 1990 she earned a second place in the WIAC indoor meet, and a second and third outdoors.  In 1991 she capped her string of accomplishments with All-America honors, placing eighth in the 100 hurdles at the NCAA III outdoor meet.  Lueptow was the team captain and was named top sprinter for the 1991 UW-W team.  She left with the school indoor and outdoor hurdle records in hand, and still owns a piece of the 4x100 hurdle relay record (1:09.54 in 1991).  Lueptow is a lieutenant in the Wauwatosa, Wisconsin fire department.
