Camille Ross was a member of the UW-Whitewater women's track and field team from 1997-2000. A 15-time national qualifier and eight-time All-American, Ross is one of the program's most decorated sprinters. She claimed 11 WIAC individual championships, including five in the 200-meter dash (three indoor, two outdoor), three in the 55-meter dash, two in the 100-meter dash and one in the long jump, during her standout career. Ross was named WIAC Outdoor Performer of the Meet in 1999 after claiming individual titles in the 100, 200, long jump and with the sprint medley relay. She earned the award again in 2000 after defending her titles in the 100 and 200. A school record holder in four individual and three relay events, including four WIAC-best marks, Ross helped lead the Warhawks to sixth in the nation in 1999 and fourth in 2000, when she was an All-American in three events. Her personal best in the 100 was .02 of a second faster than the national record in 1999 and ranked fourth all time in NCAA Division III at the time it was set. Ross is currently assistant cross country/track and field coach at Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.
