A Whitewater City High graduate, Bill excelled in football, basketball and baseball from 1947 through 1951, the year of his graduation. He was both captain and most valuable player in football. In college Bill was a standout in football and baseball. He captained the 1956 football team and played on two championship baseball teams. He graduated in 1958. Bill was a teacher and coach from 1958 through 1964. From 1964 to the present he has been with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He has been an active member of his church and has assisted with swim teams and Little League Baseball in his home town, Canoga Park, California. Elected to the Hall of Fame, 1974.
