Athletics Hall of Fame
Roger graduated from Union Grove High School in 1956 where he lettered four years in football, four years in baseball, three years in track, and one year in basketball. He was honorable mention All-State in football in 1955. At UW-W he lettered in football for four yeras. He was co-captain and most valuable player on the 1959 championship football team. Roger also lettered three years in track where at one time he held the 440 yard run school record. He graduated from UW-W in 1960. Since 1966 Roger has been working for JC Penny and is presently the Regional Catalog Center Manager for the Catalog Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio. Roger has coached metro football teams, metro basketball teams, girls softball and Pony baseball. He is active in the Boy Scouts. Roger is married and the father of four children.
