Greg Henschel served as head men's soccer coach at UW-Whitewater from 1999-2011 and as head women's soccer coach from 2000-11. During his tenure, the Warhawk men claimed three straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships from 2009-11 and reached the NCAA Tournament 10 times, including Round of 16 appearances in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2010. A two-time WIAC Men's Coach of the Year, Henschel finished his run with a 164-68-20 record (.690 winning percentage), including a 14-0-2 mark in conference play. As head coach of the Warhawk women, Henschel built the program into a perennial winner, leading UW-W to its first-ever WIAC championship in 2010 and its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2011, when the team won its second straight conference title and reached the NCAA Round of 16. He coached the program's first-ever All-American, was named WIAC Coach of the Year in 2011 and tallied a 126-90-13 record (.579), including a 53-35-8 mark in WIAC play.
