Greg Jones graduated from Baraboo High School in 1966, where he earned nine athletic letters, three in football, three in basketball and three in baseball.  In football he received All-Conference, All-Area and All-State honors and in his senior year was chosen Most Valuable Player.  In basketball he received All-Conference honors and in baseball was batting champion.  Greg was the recipient of the American Legion Award as the outstanding athlete in his senior year.  At UW-Whitewater Greg was an active member of Phi Chi Epsilon fraternity while being a four year letter winner in football.  As half back and wide receiver, he was elected to 1st team All-Conference for two years and to the All-NAIA District 14 team twice.  He was the recipient of the Paul A. Carlson Senior Athletic Award.  Individual record which he set while on campus include: starter in all games during a four year career, tied for most passes caught in a season, most rushing attempts for a career, most passes caught for a career and most total offense for a career (record still stands).  Greg was drafted by the Denver Broncos of the National Football League in 1970.  In 1971 Greg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Educatoin degree.  After graduation he continued to participate in football by playing semi-professional for the Delavan Red Devils.  He earned All-League honors in 1971.  He taught in the Jefferson School District from 1971 to 1976 where he was the assistant varsity football coach and was associated with two championship teams.  Greg is currently an Account Executive with Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc.  He coaches youth football and basketball and he enjoys family activities.  Greg and his wife, Jean, have two children, Danny and Laura, and they reside in McFarland, Wisconsin.
