Kristin (Dettman) Peer was a two-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American and two-time College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American for the Warhawk volleyball team. During her career, which spanned from 1999-2002, Dettman helped lead UW-Whitewater to four WIAC Tournament championships, three conference regular season titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first-ever NCAA championship in 2002 and back-to-back national runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2001. The setter garnered first team All-WIAC and AVCA All-Region accolades two times each, and was selected to the 2002 NCAA Division III Championship All-Tournament Team. She was named WIAC Volleyball Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete in 2002. Dettman is the program's all time leader in career assists (5,541) and is tied for fifth in program history in career service aces (205). The Pulaski native was a four-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and was once tabbed WIAC Offensive Player of the Week. Dettman graduated with a bachelor's in accounting.
