Athletics Hall of Fame
Dean Fischer, a Whitewater native and resident, has been on the board of the Quarterback Club for almost 25 years. He also served as president of the club for a nine-year stint. Fischer has also been an active member of the Tipoff Club and Dugout Club, and has been heavily involved in the operation of Wally and Rod's Warhawk Auction, an annual event that raises funds to benefit the football, men's basketball and baseball programs. An employee of the City of Whitewater for more than 40 years, Fischer retired from his position of Public Works Director in 2012, He and his wife, Jackie, reside in Whitewater. Fischer's children, Shari, Scott and Staci, all attended UW-Whitewater.
