Athletics Hall of Fame
Stephanie Greiber was a member of the UW-Whitewater women's cross country and track and field teams from 1996-2000. She was a four-time All-American in track and a two-time NCAA Championship qualifier in cross country, garnering a host of other accolades along the way. In cross country, Greiber was a three-time first team All-WIAC pick and a three-time All-Midwest Region honoree. She helped lead the Warhawks to a 19th-place finish at the NCAA Championship in 1999, the last time the team appeared at the national meet. In track and field, Greiber was a six-time WIAC champion and eight-time All-WIAC honoree. She was named WIAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet in 2000 after winning titles in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs. In that same year, Greiber was tabbed WIAC Indoor Women's Track and Field Judy Kruckman Co-Scholar Athlete. A school record holder in four events, Greiber helped UW-Whitewater place among the top 25 in the nation four times, including two years in the top 10 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. She was a three-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
