THE OFFICIAL ATHLETICS SITE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-WHITEWATER

A graduate of Mayville High School, Wes excelled in football, basketball, track and tennis. In college Wes continued to excel in football, basketball and track earning a total of nine letters. In basketball he was all conference his junior and senior years. His senior year, the basketball team won the conference championship and went to the National Tournament in Kansas City. He graduated in 1952. Following two years in the Military Service, Wes entered the sales profession. He is presently Marketing Manager for Johnson Reels, Inc., Mankato, Minnesota. He has been an active member of the church and has worked with the Boy Scouts and YMCA. Elected to the Hall of Fame, 1975.
