Kathy (McKibben) Levandoski excelled in two sports, volleyball and softball, for UW-Whitewater, earning a total of seven letters.  On the volleyball court Levandoski helped UW-W win the 1980 conference championship, while earning all-conference honors herself.  The team captain her junior and senior years, she was also named UW-W's Sportswoman of the Year for volleyball in her final season.  She was also the school's Sportswoman of the Year in softball in 1982, the same year Levandoski became the first Scholar Athlete for Softball for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  The 1980 softball team finished fifth in the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women national championship, and Levandoski's '82 squad placed seventh in the same tournament when she served as team captain. After graduating summa cum laude from UW-W in 1982 with a degree in education, Levandoski began her teaching and coaching career.  She is currently the softball coach and an assistant basketball coach at Valparaiso (IN) High School, the same school she graduated from.   In 1991 she was named Softball Coach of the Year by the Hammond Times, as well as District 1 Coach of the Year.  She directed the softball team to the state semi-finals in 1991. 

Levandoski is a resident of Portage, Indiana.
