Andra Gremer, a 1985 graduate, helped begin the tradition of Warhawk volleyball.  The team’s Most Valuable Player in 1983 and 1984, she also earned First Team All-Wisconsin Women’s Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors both years.  The volleyball team had winning records all four years Gremer earned a varsity letter, increasing it’s win total each season (22-18 in 1981, 26-14, 31-20, and 35-23).  While at UW-W Gremer was a member of the Women’s Athletic Council. 

Gremer continues her involvement with volleyball, as a player, coach and official.  A teacher in the Milwaukee Public School system, she is currently the girl’s track and field coach and girl’s volleyball coach at Riverside High School.  Gremer’s volleyball team went undefeated in divisional play and won the city tournament last fall. Gremer, a resident of Milwaukee, competed in track and field, volleyball and basketball at Forest View High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
