Boldt graduated from UW-W in December 1985. He was a three-year letter winner in football. Boldt earned First Team Football News National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III All-American and First Team Wisconsin State University Conference honors as an offensive lineman in 1984. Boldt helped his team to a Co-WSUC Championship in 1984. The 1984 football championship team had the highest scoring offense in the WSUC. Boldt helped his team rush for 4,781 yards in just three seasons (avg. just under 1,600 yards per season.) A 1,000 yard back that he blocked was Mike A. Miller who rushed for 1,076 in 1984. Boldt also won Whitewater's Glenn Wills Lineman Award in 1984. Boldt is a resident of Portage, Wisconsin and is currently a Project Manager for the Great Lakes Higher Education Loan Service. Boldt is also the head football coach for the Lodi School District.
