A 1927 graduate of Freeport, Illinois High School, Harold was on state championship teams in both football and basketball. At Whitewater he also starred in football and basketball winning 4 letters in each sport before graduating in 1933. After 8 years of teaching and coaching he served as a special agent for the FBI for 4 years. Harold received his Masters Degree from the University of Iowa and a PHD from New York University. In 1953 he joined C.I.T. Financial Corporation, and in 1960 was elected to his present position of Vice President. While active in civic affairs, Harold has been cited for notable service to the youth of his community. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1973.
