Barry Wojtak, a 1968 UW-Whitewater graduate, helped lead the 1966 football team to a Wisconsin State University Conference championship and a No. 2 ranking nationally in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.  He lettered four times in football, earning co-captain, co-Most Valuable Player and second teal all-NAIA District 14 honors in 1967.  Wojtak also lettered four years in golf and was the team captain in 1967.  While a student at St. Joseph's High School in Kenosha (WI), Wojtak earned three letters each in football, basketball and golf.  As a senior, Wojtak earned team Most Valuable Player honors, while leading the golf team to a conference championship.  For the last 20 years, Wojtak has worked for Abbot Laboratories in North Chicago, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Clara Abbott Foundation where he has earned two presidential awards.  In addition, Wojtak serves as a board member for the Christian Youth Council, St. Catherine's Hospital, the United Way of Kenosha County and the Good Fellows Christina Charities.  He also spent two years in the U.S. Army.
