Floyd Weeks was a record-setting 220 yard low hurdler on the Warhawk track teams in the early 1960s.  He earned four letters in track while competing in the 220 yard low hurdles.  Weeks finished in third place at the 1961 conference meet.  He won conference championships in 1962 and 1963.  His second place finish at the 1964 conference meet was his only loss in his event that year.  He also competed in the 120 high hurdles and on the 880 yard relay team.  By the end of his athletic career at UW-Whitewater he held the school record in the 200 yard low hurdles and had set five different facility records.  Floyd graduated from Monroe High School where he also earned four letters in track.  Weeks, a 1965 graduate, is currently an independent insurance agent at his own agency in South Beloit, Illinois and serves as an area manager for both Capitol American and United Chambers Insurance Companies.
