Wayne and Edith Saxe have been avid supporters of the UW-Whitewater athletic department and its teams for more than 35 years. The Saxes have been members of the Quarterback Club and Tip-Off Club for more than 35 years and hosted meetings for the two booster groups for more than 30 years, accommodating the two programs in any way possible. The couple has sponsored an advertisement in the Warhawk Football game program since 1980 and has been a hole sponsor for UW-Whitewater football, men's basketball and baseball golf outings every year since 1985. The Saxes have also donated to and participated in the annual Warhawk Auction Raffle to benefit the three programs.
