A 1969 graduate, Lorrie Koppein was the captain of three teams at UW-Whitewater.  Koppein captained the volleyball, softball and basketball teams.  She earned a total of ten letters, also playing tennis and golf.  She won the Midwest Intercollegiate Championship golf tournament championship.  Koppein has remained active in many facets of athletics.  She coached volleyball, field hockey, basketball and softball on the high school level, directing two teams on two conference titles in both baskeball and softball.  She has also worked as an athletic and physical education administrator on the high school and municipal system levels.  Koppein also played Amateur Athletic Union basketball and has remaine active in golf circles, including tournaments and LPGA certification.  A graduate of Waukesha (WI) South High School, Koppein is currently employed by Evergreen Country Club in Elkhorn (WI) and Grenelefe (FL) Resort.
