Athletics Hall of Fame
Tom Van De Bogart lettered four times in basketball and once in baseball before graduating in 1974. He was the team's Most Valuable Player as a freshman and received honorable mention all-Wisconsin State University Conference in 1972 and 1974. Tom was team captain in both the 1971 and 1974 seasons. He helped UW-Whitewater win league titles in 1973 and 1974, with both teams winning over twenty games. When he graduated, Van De Bogart was third in career assists and had the fifth best mark on the school's season record list. Van De Bogart is an employee of the Adolph Coors Brewing Company.
