Julie Erwin, formerly Mennen, was a teammate of Jolie Kreuser's on UW-W's national softball powerhouse in the mid-80's.  The team qualified for the NCAA III playoffs all three years Erwin played for UW-W (84 fourth place-85 third-86 fifth), adding the conference title in 1986.  She was first team all-conference her senior year, as well as conference Scholar Athlete for Softball in 1986 and a CoSIDA Academic All-American.  She is sixth in career stolen bases (24) and twelfth in walks (38) in the UW-W record book.  A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, Erwin teaches seventh grade in the Paradise Valley School District.
