Athletics Hall of Fame
Marv graduated from Beaver Dam Senior High School in 1958, where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. In 1957 he was named to the All-State football team and was honorable mention on the National High School All-American football team. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Marv lettered in football for 4 years and baseball for 3 years. He was elected as a co-captain of the 1961 football team and was the team's punter, and played on the 1959 and 1960 championship teams. Since graduating from UW-Whitewater in 1962, Marv has been employed by Cuna Mutual Insurance Society holding several positions within the Claims Department. At present he is manager of the Group Accounting Department. Marv is married and the father of two children, Paula age 9 and Christopher age 6. They reside in the Windsor-DeForest community. Marv is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Windsor Congregational United Church of Christ.
