Athletics Hall of Fame
Mr. Thomas F. Lange is being awarded the Distinguished Service Award of the Whitewater Athletic Hall of Fame. This award is granted by the Hall of Fame Board and the University to persons who have significantly contributed to the success of the athletic programs of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Mr. Lange becomes the tenth recipient of this award. Tom is an outstanding Warhawk fan who gives freely of his time, energy and money in helping to make the Warhawk athletic program the success that it is. Mr. Lange announces the freshman football games, the baseball games, the women's basketball games and the wrestling meets. He works the table at the men's basketball games. For many years he has taken two weeks of his vacation each August to help with the preseason football camp. He has been a perennial officer of both the Quarterback Club and the Tip-Off Club.
