Athletics Hall of Fame
Tom Harty served as one of the most ardent supporters of Warhawk men's and women's teams for nearly three decades. In addition to attending multiple athletic events on campus, Harty brokered partnerships in the community to support athletic activities, fan buses, banquets and awards. He was a past president of the Tip-Off Club (men's basketball) and Quarterback Club (football), was a member of several other athletics booster clubs and was a regular participant in the department's various golf outing fundraisers. Harty played an integral role in the growth of the Warhawk Auction Raffle, which is one of the largest single fundraisers on campus. Harty passed away in 2017.
