Athletics Hall of Fame
Justin Jacobs was a four-year standout on the UW-Whitewater football team from 2002-06. The two-time Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year (2005, 2006) helped lead the Warhawks to conference titles in 2005 and 2006. Jacobs also garnered D3football.com All-Region recognition in 2005 and 2006 after leading UW-Whitewater to the Stagg Bowl. He earned Honorable Mention All-America honors from the Football Gazette in 2005. Jacobs was named to the WIAC's All-Time Football Team as part of the league's Centennial Celebration in 2012. A team captain in 2006, Jacobs was selected as the team's most valuable player in 2005 and 2006. He ranks among the top 15 in the WIAC season record book in passing yards (3,556), total yards (3,667), passing touchdowns (36 and 35), and pass attempts (422). In the WIAC career record book, Jacobs ranks among the top 15 in passing efficiency, passing touchdowns, passing yards, and pass attempts. Jacobs holds the UWW records for career pass attempts (1,024) and career passing yards (7,866). He is ranked second in the program record book in career passing touchdowns (80) and career completions (539). A native of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and graduate of Sun Prairie High School, Jacobs earned a bachelor's degree in physical education in 2007.
