Tim Patterson, a 1985 graduate, earned four letters each in football and baseball, earning all-conference honors in both sports. On the football field Patterson played defensive back, leading the team in interceptions as a sophomore (5) and as a senior (7). He was the team captain and highest graded defensive player as a senior in 1982, when he also earned Second Team All-WSUC honors.  Patterson wound up his career with a school record fifteen interceptions.  That mark is still second in the UW-W books, as is his single season total of seven.  He is also sixth all-time in career interception return yards (137). He started for the Warhawks’ 1980 WSUC champions, and all of the teams he played on had winning records (7-4, 8-3, 7-3, 7-4). Patterson also displayed his talents on the diamond for UW-W, earning team Most Outstanding Pitcher and Honorable Mention All-WUSC notice as a junior and second team all-league recognition his senior year.  His senior year he went 5-2, leading the team in wins and innings pitched (48).  His junior year, 1981, he topped the squad in appearances (13) and saves. A four sport (football, baseball, basketball, track) athlete before graduating from Sussex (WI) Hamilton High School in 1979, Patterson is a partner in A.N. Ansay and Associates, Inc in Port Washington.  Still active as an officer in the W-Club and Warhawk booster organizations, he resides in Sussex.
