Stuart Elzy was a member of the UW-Whitewater men's track and field program from 1996-2000. During his standout career, he garnered two All-America accolades in the 400-meter hurdles, placing fourth in 1996 and third in 2000. Elzy was a seven-time WIAC champion in hurdles events, including three times in the 400-meter hurdles. He is the current school record holder in both the indoor 200-meter hurdles (24.79 – 1999) and the outdoor 400-meter hurdles (52.31 – 2000), and his record in the 110-meter hurdles (14.40 – 2000) stood for 16 years until being broken in early May. A Flint, Mich., native, Elzy graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in physical education (K-12).
