Jim Bathey's name is scattered throughout the Warhawk baseball record book.  Whitewater's career stolen base leader (80), Bathey is also among the top ten all-time in  runs batted in (second, 130), runs (third, 142), doubles (fourth, 30), walks (fifth, 73), and hits (sixth, 165). He established the school single season record for stolen bases with 29 in 1987, and led the Warhawks in stolen bases all four years that he played.  Bathey started in centerfield on UW-W's 1984 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship tournament team that went 26-11.  He was a CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) First Team Academic All-American in 1986 and 1987, and a four year starter and two-time First Team All-WIAC.  A resident of Menomonee Falls, Bathey is assistant vice president for ticket sales for the Milwaukee Brewers.
