National Championship Teams Welcome!
National Athletes of the Year The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is home to one of the finest collegiate athletic programs in the nation. With each season, the Warhawks build on a tradition of academic and athletic excellence. In fact, the decade has seen the Warhawks capture National Championships in baseball, volleyball, football, gymnastics and men’s basketball. Historically, 48 student-athletes have won 71 individual national titles. The success of Warhawk sports teams parallel the accomplishments inside the classroom of UW-Whitewater student-athletes.  With numerous chancellor scholar-athletes recognized each year, and a grade point average over 3.0, Warhawk student-athlete success happens both in the classroom and on the field of play.

Regardless of the sport played at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, the Warhawks compete in style, train in first-class facilities, and enjoy a decided home-field advantage. Prucha Field and James B. Miller Stadium and the van Steenderen Softball Complex, home of Warhawk baseball and softball, have been recently updated and compete among the finest facilities in Division III college athletics. Similarly, Perkins stadium is consistently ranked among the nation’s top 10 venues in attendance and Kachel Family Sport Complex is one of the area’s chief track-and-field and soccer shrines. UW-Whitewater Athletic Department welcomes prospective student-athletes, parents, and boosters to learn more about Warhawk Athletics.
