Diane Morales Brooks, a 1978 UW-Whitewater graduate, earned all-conference honors as a member of the 1977-78 basketball team. She lettered four times in basketball, twice as the team's Most Valuable Player, while lettering twice in volleyball and once in track. In 1979, Morales Brooks competed in the Pan American Summer Games and was a member of the Puerto Rican Games. After that, she went on to play one season with the Milwaukee Does in 1979-80. Following her professional basketball career, Morales Brooks worked for the Milwaukee Public Schools for three years as a physical education and health instructor and now is a member of the Milwaukee Police Department.
