Harold is a graduate of Racine Park High School where he won letters in football, basketball, and track.  In his senior year in high school he captained both the basketball and football teams and served as president of the Letterman's Club.  At the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Harold lettered four years in track and four years in football.  He was twice conference long jump champion in track and in football was an all-conference running back his senior year.  He holds rushing and scoring records at Whitewater.  Harold graduated in 1961 with a degree in education.  Since graduating he has taught and coached in two school systems.  In Burlington, Illinois, he taught English and Physical Education and served as head coach in basketball, football and track.  He was also Athletic Director.  In 1967 he was employed by the Mukwonago Area Schools where he has taught Physical Education and coached football and wrestling.  Presently he is head coach in track and girls gymnastics.  Married, father of three, Harold has been active in community organizations and has worked to improve recreational opportunities for all in the Mukwonago area.
