Jake Lautenschlager (Omro, Wis./Omro) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's track and field team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
In 2020, Lautenschlager finished 10th in the high jump at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. His height of 6-01.25 (1.86 meters) matched his season best.
As a sophomore in 2019, Lautenschlager established his personal record in the high jump with a 6-05.50 (1.97 meters). He went on to place fourth in the event at the WIAC Indoor Championships and ninth at the conference outdoor meet. Lautenschlager also finished 17th in the 60-meter hurdles at the indoor meet.
Lautenschlager reached the podium at the 2018 WIAC Indoor Championships as a freshman, finishing seventh overall.
Lautenschlager is majoring in occupational safety.
