Sydney Davidson (Elburn, Ill./Kaneland) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's track and field team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
In 2020, Davidson placed 10th in the pole vault at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championship. One week later, she recorded her best height of the season in the event, a mark of 11-05.75 (3.50 meters) at the Carthage Final Qualifier.
As a sophomore in 2019, Davidson tallied her personal record on pole vault, a height of 11-08.00 (3.56 meters) at the indoor Titan Challenge. She reached the podium at the WIAC Indoor Championship with an eighth-place finish. During the outdoor season, Davidson placed 12th in the pole vault at the conference meet.
Davidson qualified for the WIAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the pole vault as a freshman, finishing 18th at the indoor meet.
A three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree, Davidson is majoring in human resource management.
