Ashton Sinak (St. Louis, Mo./Visitation Academy) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team is featured in the seventh edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
 
Sinak's performance during the 2019 season helped the Warhawks claim their third consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship and clinch a bid to the NCAA Championship for the third straight season. She tied for 10th at the conference tournament with a three-round total of 240 (80-81-79).
 
Following the championship, Sinak was named the WIAC Player of the Year and was one of five UW-Whitewater players who were selected first team All-WIAC. Her fall campaign contained four top-10 finishes, including medalist honors at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Invitational with a two-round score of 147, including a then-program record 72 in the first round.
 
Sinak averaged an 18-hole score of 77.9 in 14 rounds played. She garnered WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week accolades for Sept. 9-15.
 
As a freshman in 2018-19, Sinak averaged an 83.1 in 17 rounds played. She tied for fifth at the UW-Whitewater Fall Classic and tied for 13th at the 2018 WIAC Championship.
 
A two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, Sinak is majoring in marketing with emphasis in experiential and sports marketing.
