Erin McNeil (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team is featured in the 10th edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
 
McNeil helped the Warhawks win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship and reach the NCAA Tournament in 2019. She finished the year with 166 kills (2.18 per set), 31 blocks and a .154 hitting percentage in 25 matches played, including 11 kills in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Otterbein (Ohio).
 
As a freshman in 2018, McNeil was named first team All-WIAC after ranking among the top 10 in the conference in kills per set (2.90), hitting percentage (.241) and points per set (3.24). She totaled a team-best 299 kills and added 53 blocks (0.51 per set) and 111 digs. McNeil helped UW-Whitewater earn a spot in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
McNeil was named WIAC Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 10-16, 2018, after helping the Warhawks post a 4-0 record with 57 kills (3.80 per set) and a .440 hitting percentage.
 
McNeil is majoring in communication with a minor in general management. She hopes to work as a public relations coordinator in the future.
