The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Women's Cross Country team competed in one of the largest invites in the Midwest Saturday morning. 40 teams (10 nationally ranked in the USTFCCCA) competing and 381 runners competed alongside the Warhawks. The women's team finished 16th out of the 40 teams.
Katie Erb (Winnebago, Ill./Winnebago) crossed the line first for the Warhawks, placing 25th with a time of 22:47.6.
Renee Forystek (Waukesha, WI/North) finished 96th in the field, clocking a time of 23:52.1.

In the Open Heat, the Warhawks finished 11th out of 22 teams.
