The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team continued its unbeaten run in dual matches Saturday with consecutive 9-0 victories against Millikin (Ill.) and Concordia Wisconsin at Lake Geneva Tennis in Lake Geneva.
 
In the match against Millikin (1-2), the Warhawks dropped a combined four games in doubles on its way to a 3-0 lead. Josh Guillermo (Muskego, Wis./Marquette University HS) and Ridley Aranda (Bayside, Wis./Nicolet) posted an 8-0 win at the third position before Alex Gray (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville) and John Zakowski (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest) claimed an 8-3 triumph at the first position. Ryan Mitchell (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) and Niclas Goltz (Freiburg, Germany/Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium) combined for an 8-1 victory at the second position to complete the doubles sweep.
 
Josh Baldwin (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) started UW-W in singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5, and Parker Hearne (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) clinched the dual with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph at No. 4. Cole Lindwall (Cottage Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) topped Clayton Maack by a 6-2, 6-0 score at No. 1, and Payton Adkisson (Lincolnshire, Ill./Stevenson) followed suit with a 6-3, 6-1 victory at No. 3.
 
Rory Calabria (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) defeated Theodor Wolf 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2, and Noah Wankerl (Sauk City, Wis./Sauk Prairie) finished off the dual with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6.
 
UW-Whitewater started its match against Concordia Wisconsin (0-4) in similar fashion. Calabria and Lindwall paired at No. 1 doubles for an 8-0 triumph. Adkisson and Brendan Pietila (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead) earned an 8-2 victory at No. 2, and Baldwin and Wankerl held on for an 8-6 win at No. 3.
 
Gray downed Tim Peters 6-1, 6-0 at the second singles slot, and Hearne clinched the dual with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at the fourth spot.
 
Other winners in straight sets included Zakowski at the first position, Guillermo at the fifth position, Aranda at the sixth position and Pietila at the third position.
 
The Warhawks host three more duals at Lake Geneva Tennis Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26. UW-W faces North Central (Ill.) on Friday at 5 p.m. to start the weekend.
