Theo Billson Punches Ticket to 2026 NCAA Individual Championship

Billson Punches Ticket to NCAA Individual Championship

Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team was selected as a singles qualifier in the NCAA Individual National Championship.

The junior Warhawk currently ranks 46th in the most recent ITA rankings & was selected as one of 32 individuals in the singles bracket. The selection of individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule, and eligibility and availability of student-athletes.

Billson reached the semifinal match of the ITA Midwest Regional hosted by Gustavus Adolphus in the Fall of 2025.

This marks the second consecutive year Billson has reached the national stage. In 2025, the then-sophomore & doubles partner Reuben Giorgio (Perth, Western Australia/Applecross) were selected as doubles qualifiers. The pair fell in a close tiebreaker to the 5th-ranked doubles pair from Swarthmore.

The individual championship will begin on May 23rd in Chattanooga, Tennessee, hosted by the University of the South & Chattanooga, TN.

More information regarding Billson's match-up & schedule will be released when available.
