The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team fell to the College of New Jersey in the WIAC Championship game on Saturday. 

The Warhawks picked up the doubles point after wins from Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) & Carter Michaels (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Eagan), taking the first doubles flight 6-2. Julius Jonsson (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Aranäsgymnasiet) & Charles Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) secured the point with a 6-2 victory at the third flight. 

Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) picked up the top singles flights, winning 6-3, 6-4 in the first flight to finish. With the win, Billson reaches 18 total wins at No. 1 singles, entering the Warhawk record books tied for the 8th most wins at the top singles flight in a single season in Warhawk history. Billson's all-time No. 1 singles win reaches 27th, also tied for 8th best in program history. 

The College of New Jersey was able to pick up the next four singles matches, clinching the match 4-2 over the Warhawks. With the loss, the Warhawks will wait for word from the NCAA about an at-large bid.
