The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team fell to the top-ranked team in Division III tennis, 0-7, in a weekend doubleheader dual with the women's program. The Warhawks, ranked 34th in the most recent ITA poll, fell to the No. 1-ranked UChicago Maroons. 

The Maroons opened the match with a doubles sweep to take the early doubles point. The Warhawks were unable to grab a point before the top-ranked Maroons swept the singles matches to take the match. 

Seth Smigel (Tiffin, Iowa/Clear Creek Amana) was able to push his game into the third set in the 6th singles flight. Smigel won his second set in the tiebreaker, holding his opponent to just two points in the TB. 

Next up for the Warhawks, UWW will face Kalamazoo in their regular-season finale on Sunday, April 26th.
