The No. 23 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team placed 16th over the weekend at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
In a field packed with nationally-ranked teams, the Warhawks totaled four wins for the weekend with a pinfall of 11,907, good for a 178 per-game average.
 
UW-Whitewater was defeated in best-of-seven Baker bracket play Sunday by Jackson State, Alabama State and Tusculum.
 
The Warhawks head to Arkansas State's Mid-Winter Classic starting Friday at Hijinx in Jonesboro, Ark.
