St. Louis, Mo. -- The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team finished tenth in the Saints Invitational hosted by Maryville University over the weekend. The tournament featured 18 teams.

Heading into bracket Sunday as the ninth seed, UWW opened the day with a loss to Maryville University. The Warhawks bounced back with a win over Newman before wrapping the weekend with a loss to Central Missouri. The Warhawks hit the 1,000 pin milestone in every traditional match Saturday. The high game on the day was a 1,048 in the second match. On Friday, UWW registered a total pinfall of 4,828 bolstered by three consecutive games scoring over 1,000.
