The National Tenpin Coaches Association has announced the national leaders for the 2025-26 season along with its individual award winners.
The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team was the national leader in Baker double percentage - 42.20%. Individually,
Elizabeth Vanderhei (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) paced Division III in Baker double percentage - 49.70% - and traditional frame average - 19.29. Vanderhei was named the NTCA Division III Rookie of the Year this season for her success on the lanes.
Zoey Darwin (Monona, Wis./Monona Grove) was also the national leader in Division III in strike percentage - 44.80%.
The Warhawk women's bowling team finished fifth at the Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier in Addison, Illinois this season.
Emma Johnson (Greenfield, Wis./Greenfield) and
Jacqueline Knowles (Volo, Ill./Wauconda) paced UWW in the Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier - both finishing among the top 20 individually. Darwin and Vanderhei ranked among the top 50 in the 244-bowler sectional this season.
