Lockport, Ill. -- The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team finished 14th in a 26-team field at the 2026 Flyer Classic hosted by Lewis University.
The Warhawks went 4-6 on the first two days of the tournament with a 10-match total pinfall of 9,424 -- an average of 188.5 per game.
Zoey Darwin (Monona, Wis./Monona Grove) was the top individual bowler for UW-Whitewater across the five traditional games Saturday. Darwin registered a total pinfall of 1035 -- averaging 207 per game to finish 25th.
Jordyn Norvell (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) and
Elizabeth Vanderhei (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) finished among the top 50. Norvell averaged 196.80 while Vanderhei posted a 191.80 average across five games.
Emily Rusk (Greenfield, Wis./Greenfield) also bowled all five for UWW Saturday accumulating a pinfall of 950 and averaging 190 per game.
In bracket play on Sunday, UWW defeated Tulane before dropping the next two matches to North Carolina A&T and Wright State University.
