The No. 16 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team placed 17th over the weekend at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
The Warhawks finished with a 1-2 record in best-of-seven Baker bracket play Sunday, wrapping up the tournament with a 4-3 victory over No. 7 Youngstown State. The team was defeated earlier in the day by No. 14 Sacred Heart in five games and No. 25 Long Island in seven.
 
UW-Whitewater has concluded regular season NCAA competition. The team heads to the United States Bowling Congress Sectional in Addison, Ill., nest weekend starting Friday.
