Ryan Mitchell (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) was next to finish, claiming his super tiebreaker in the third set for a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) win. In the No. 4 position, sophomore
Brendan Pietila (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead) took the win by a 6-2, 6-4 margin to clinch the match. Next on the board was Guillermo with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the No. 6 position, and Wood ended the match with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph at No. 5.
