The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team defeated UW-Stevens Point 7-0 to improve to 2-0 in the WIAC standings. 

The Warhawks opened the match by taking all three doubles flights, with no Warhawk duo dropping more than three games.

In the singles matches, UWW swept the Pointers. All six Warhawks won their flight in straight sets. Andrew Dumbauld (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove), Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC), & Seth Smigel (Tiffin, Iowa/Clear Creek Amana) were the three to clinch the match. Dumbauld took the third flight with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Billson followed in the first flight, only dropping two games with a 6-2, 6-0 victory. Smigel took the sixth flight 6-2, 6-1 as the Warhawks claimed a conference win over UWSP. 

The Warhawks will take on UW-La Crosse next with a home dual against the Eagles on Friday, April 17th. The match is set to take place in Whitewater at 3 PM. The match will decide the WIAC West champion.
