No. 10 Bowling Places Eighth at Vanderbilt

The No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater bowling team finished with a 9-4 record over the weekend to place eighth out of 29 teams at Vanderbilt's Music City Classic at Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
 
The Warhawks totaled 12,478 pins for the tournament, good for an average of 195.0 per game. The team was defeated in three best-of-seven Baker series in bracket play Sunday, falling in six against No. 6 Stephen F. Austin and four against Monmouth and No. 5 Sam Houston State.
 
This weekend's tournament concludes UW-Whitewater's regular season. The NCAA Championship Selection Show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, at 3 p.m. on NCAA.com.
