The Warhawk men's soccer team, ranked fifteenth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, topped Carroll University 3-0 on the road Sunday afternoon.

Trevor Swentik (Delafield/Marquette University HS) got Whitewater going right away in the contest with a goal just 2:15 in on assists from
Ryan Richgels (Madison/Memorial) and
Dan Montanye (Mukwonago/Mukwonago). Late in the first half Whitewater struck again with
Kevin Kron (Willowbrook, IL/Benet Academy) netting the ball from
Josh Chamberlain (De Pere/De Pere) at 40:05.
The scoring was capped off in the second half on a free kick goal by Montanye at 64:59. There were four yellow cards called in the second half, three on Carroll and one was given to UW-W.
Goalkeeper
Aaron Sesselmann (Green Bay/Notre Dame Academy) improved his record to 2-0-1 as Whitewater moves to 5-0-1.
The Warhawks posted 13 shots in the contest to the Pioneers' three. UW-W had the advantage on corner kicks as well with seven to Carroll's two.
The Warhawks will travel to UW-Superior Saturday, September 25 for a schedule start of 2:30 pm.
