The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team featured four selections to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Team.
The 2025 Academic All-America baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The 2025 Warhawk Baseball National Championship team showcased success both on the field and in the classroom. The Warhawks had three first-team selections, the most of any Division III school on the 2025 Academic All-America Team.
Aaron Holland (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North), Andy Thies (Tallahassee, Fla./Lawton Chiles), and Matt Scolan (Downers Grove, Ill./South) earned First Team Honors. Logan Eisenbarth (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) was selected to the Third Team Academic All-American team.
Holland, an academic senior, boasts a 3.74 GPA in Finance. Holland was recently named to the ABCA All-Region IX Defensive team to add to his All-American accolades as the Warhawks' catcher.
Thies is an academic senior majoring in Accounting with a 3.68 GPA. Thies was one of the four UWW baseball All-Americans from the 2025 season.
Scolan graduated with a degree in Finance this past Spring with a GPA of 3.81. Scolan was the 2024 Academic All-American of the Year, adding a first-team selection for 2025. Scolan became one of the most decorated Warhawk baseball athletes, setting numerous records and claiming multiple academic/athletic accolades.
Eisenbarth, an academic senior in Physical Education, has a cumulative grade point average of 3.64. Eisenbarth boasted a 2.56 ERA through 59.2 innings during the 2025 season. In the NCAA DIII World Series, Eisenbarth pitched 6.2 innings against Denison to earn the win.
All four were selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team announced in mid-June. Darryl Jackson (Milwaukee, Wis./Rufus King) was also selected for the Academic All-District team. Jackson recorded a grade point average of 3.80 in Management.
